We used to be able to purchase drums of 100 LL from Hubert (Shell) in Maniwaki - 1.5 hrs north of Ottawa.
Another option which I have done is show up at the airport with 4 certified empty drums on a trailer and just fill them up at the pump.

I have a TS-50 in my Amphib 185 - Use it in North/West Quebec - hunting and fishing camps primarily.

Quebec Radio on 5680 is great for a getting a METAR/TAF - weather breifing - and filing a flight plan.
Much more relieable than my POS Globalstar phone and accessable from the ground/water.

Wow - that sounds like total BS to me. I have the gold wings as well (through COPA) for a 185 amphib (It aint cheap!!)
