Don't think so..

Banff AB is CYBA. It is nothing more than a grass strip. Empress AB, CYEA. Jasper CYJA. You get the idea.

Re: Responding to Cadors

Keep in mind a CADOR is just an incident. If you blew a tire on landing, it could be written as a CADOR. An infraction on the other hand, is something that you could be talking to enforcement about. Any thing that you say to enforcement can be used in the investigation against you. So the case usual...

Re: Trowal or Occlusion?

A TROWAL and an Occulded front are essentially the same thing. The major difference is where they are drawn on a weather map. An occulded front is drawn where the cold and cool air masses meet at the surface, whereas the TROWAL is drawn where the cold, cool and warm air meet somewhere aloft. This is...

Well it's good to see that Invermere was at least deserving enough for a circuit. Stop in next time! Coffee is usually on and we don't bite! :D We actually did stop in for Coffee! It is pretty amazing how detailed the track is. I did have it turned off at one point from the coffee shop to the airpo...

I brought a garmin GPS meant for cycling flying on a trip, when I got home I uploaded the track onto google earth. Here is the result. It is very handy for IFR practice, I can actually see what my holds look like.

Why, when you reply to a topic that interests you, do you find it necessary to quote all of the previous posts, generally more than one screen-length, before you reply? Do you think we are all brain-damaged? Do you think our reading comprehension is so deficient that we can't remember what we read ...

Evan Bullock

Hi Everyone. I recently found an old book with some notes about heli flight training. It could just be garbage, but you never know. Evan Bullock's name is written on one page, so I assume it is his. Does anyone know him? I googled his name and found out that he used to run Bullock Helicopters in Cal...

I did a discovery flight there ten years ago so I can say at least something first-hand about their training... :r...
