Do you have a link to the revised exemption Teepee? I combed through the exemptions and didn’t see a revision for 2030.

Did Perimeter/Bearskin end up recalling all those laid off?
Or were there permanent layoffs?
Hoping they are faring well...

Re: Medicals
What about those lads that just turned 30 this year, and need an ECG this round. Is the attestation enough? I can see TC has thought this one through. :D Not that I think an ECG at 30 should be necessary. The way I have read it, routine testing (ECG’s, urine etc.) isn’t required until your next ful...

Re: Medicals
What does "Licence Restricted" mean? My medical says I need to wear glasses. Does this mean I cannot RENEW via attestation ? Bump. Has anyone contacted TC to see if wearing glasses falls under the “Licence Restricted” in the appendix? Can you renew via attestation if you need to wear glasses?

Re: Where is this so called shortage
How do other professions market shortages in skilled Human Resources as a result of the baby boomers retiring? I don’t understand how the “pilot shortage” always gets the front page when there must be other professions which (I would think) are starving for experienced workers as well...and pay/qual...

What are some of the lower time experience levels that have gotten into big red over the last 1-2 years? I have no dog in this fight, merely interested in knowing if lower time guys/gals have been getting into mainline and what type of experience they had at the time. I would have guessed AC online ...

705's...and back?
With all the movement right now and the great opportunities for pilots to slide into seats quickly at the airline level, has anyone made the jump to the airlines and realized it wasn't for them and went back to their old job?

Any student pilots reading this? It's been years since I've been to a FTU. I'm curious if schools have gone paperless, or are paper maps still the norm in the learning environment.

As a consideration or "what if" aspect of this mission, realize that something as relatively benign as a blown tire on landing or any other delay, would become a life-threatening situation to the crew as well as risk a $85M+ aircraft.

Re: Anybody commuting to a US carrier?
Hey GTF, just curious what you are making as a Q400 FO? You say you were shocked at wages north of the border...you have me curious. I went on Horizon's career page and they advertise a wage of $40,000 based on 1000 credit hours...which is around 85/month. Is that not on par with Porter/Jazz credit/...
