Boeing is doing so well locally and internationally this seems to be Bill Gates style of business. Isn't this more about the competition between Embrarer and Bombardier as they make simil...

Re: Air Tindi Layoffs-Unprecedented
I wouldn't go back to an outfit that laid me off unless I had no other choice, personally. Is this the general consensus or as no doubt an individual opinion? Establish vs re-establish, Senority vs experience As I understood this from people there and used to work there this was a cleaning house or...

Re: College of Pilots.
So, I read through lightly on the website I have some questions if they can be clarified. I agree with professionalism, rights, standards and justice. 1) Is this a union? association/ credit union? 2) Are you starting a pension fund? 3) Insurance based on dues/ membership fees? If I paid in I want i...

What about water?
Range is the distance to land plus safety margin for point of no return half way in case of weather and position reports and survival gear. No sharks in Canadian waters?

Wasn't this Empire Aviation with their Diamonds teaching cadets and the military kick for the UWO degree? Knew some that took this school right through to Flight Instruction and got 1000 and 1200hrs in a year. Both got hired out to a charter than an airline so not a bad deal. Is it because Maylan/ B...

Re: Best flying jobs (life style)
Great analogy X15!
Its ambition
I remember doing my best Neil Armstrong impersonation when I was a kid and picturing the controls of a Concorde.
Dream and strive big and when you reach for the stars and land on the moon its a great feeling.
If you hate where you are why are you there?
