Re: Pilots living in the Moncton NB area?
I would describe our bidding process as being like an auction where everyone has the same amount of money to begin with to "bid" on scheduling attributes. If there's something lots of people want that's of limited quantity, you can probably get it, but you won't have any bidding power left for anyt...

That guy seems to think all programmers should work for free. I wonder if there's a programmer's equivalent of Avcanada out there, and if so how popular he'd be.

So he told one that he was an out of work janitor living in his parents basement. The relationship ended when she found out he flew airplanes!

Re: Even more taxes could be on the way for folks in YYZ
If they put every penny they take in road tolls and put it into public transit infrastructure, particularly to and from the 'burbs, I'd be all for it. For instance if I could catch a train to YYZ at a reasonable price and with a reasonable schedule I'd do it. Another way to look at it is that if I d...

Re: More news on Jazz
Your points are all completely valid, except don't forget companies get the unions they deserve. If it weren't for ALPA, jazz captains would be making minimum wage working 29 days a month. Management's job is to maximize profits in part by minimizing workforce costs, but a smart manager realizes tha...

Re: LAs Vegas
I don't know if Continental does this but at Some airlines with multi class layouts the economy class starts at row 12, even if there are only 4 rows of bus. class. That way if there is an airplane change you can keep your seat number without switching classes. The result being that you could be in ...

Definately keep the last employer off
the resume. If you feel you really need to put it on there, get a friend to call them for a reference. That way you'll know what they're saying behind your back.
Cheers
