Re: The Dreaded Flight 852 (First Air)

I think you have to read the article and put it in context to where First Air operates. The author could have put more background to the remote locales that "dreaded 852" serves, as well as the lack of support and resources encountered when flying up in the Arctic, which would have provided the prop...

Re: What would you do?

Congrats on the acceptance letters, I too was in a very similar situation 10 years ago, and opted to go to university and then get my pilots licenses. Well degree in hand and over 4000 hours later with jet/glass time, still no interview with the major players. Still I wouldn't change a thing, the 4 ...

Re: CYYC - EGLL Flight Incident (Will raise a few eyebrows)

Which aircraft registration and which seat number did he do this "deed" on?
I fly a lot as a pax on AC's 67s and 330s and would like to avoid this seat!

Re: Westjet Hiring

Does anyone know how many more GS's scheduled for the year and approximate wait time from successful interview to GS? My current job is hanging in the balance dependent on how soon or how late a new WestJetter is leaving for the mothership.

Thanks,

Re: First Air - reduces Edmonton flights, adds YVQ

Well IMHO WestJet is like McD's or WalMart. We all complain about them but we go there, spend our money there, they are everywhere and make lots of $$$'s! So who can argue with a great business like that. No matter how much the northern airlines complain whats done is done. The harsh reality is the ...
