Re: Here Comes the F-35
You don't really know anything about the fighter force and what it does/what it needs. Hardly in a position to discuss it. Lots of the things I know about the JSF, I am not willing to discuss it openly. You're right, but as a tax payer and citizen born and raised in this great country I think we al...

Re: Here Comes the F-35
What kind of experience do you have to make that statement? Not quite. Try again. Zero experience, so enlighten me. The F35 is far more advanced than the F16 (the A/C that it is replacing), I was just making a generalized asshole statement. I want our pilots to get the best equipment possible for t...

F18F (SH) - Better survivability than the F35 - Tanker supply roll if necessary - Greater range - Familiar to ground and flight crews already - 90% commonality software wise with current F18's - I'm assuming cheaper maintanence wise with proven systems - Roughly half the cost per aircraft when compa...

Re: Pet Peeves
Most flight schools? Surely the majority of flight school owners are interested in teaching people how to fly rather than how to dress like an airline captain. What is the logic for requiring this of students? It can't be to make the airplane perform any better. It is equally unlikely that it helps...

Actual pilots that don't realize that its a rule at most flight schools for students to wear a uniform and epaulettes. I assume that is what you are referring to.Randleman wrote:

Re: The million dollar questions...
As a newcomer to the industry, and currently participating in a program (algonquin) some of these posts make me cringe. I am in my mid 20's and had no illusions about the airline industry before I chose this path. I knew it was going to be hard work not only to get my license, but also to land any s...
