I thought of that, but so would using the front of the spinner. The B737 has the datum somewhere around 100" ahead of the nose. Apparently this is standard practise now. Thats probably where the Test Pitot Tube was sitting during Certifications. at least thats what I was told before Cheers, :)

Hey don't give up, as you can tell its a very competitive field here in Canada, few jobs for many hungry pilots!!! congrats on your landed immigrant status, some operators might prefer a Canadian Passport.. however don't let that discourage you. with your experience I would target corporate operator...

All of the UNS are the Same, they use the same softwareish, the Different Names UNS - 1K UNS 1L etc are named on how they are fitted in the cockpit in other words the faceplate Know this: To Load Approach/Arrival: Flight Plan --> Menu --> Arrive The rest of the stuff you'll learn in the sim Good Luck

Well I'm starting to study for my AA's now. I wrote the IATRA few years ago all I used was the Aerocourse books, and all I need now is 100 co-jo time to get my ATPL, so I should be able to get it signed off within two years. I'll keep you posted here. If i'm really stuck then i'll take the ATPL aero...
