Re: Beginning of Transat wave?
Good thing you're not running WS and sending 787s in the South of France to compete with TS 321LRs. Then again, I wish you were! Good thing you don't have anything to do with business. What socialist's like you can't comprehend , is the concept of critical mass. WS has an amazing feed system which ...

Re: YVR Commuters
As of now there are no openings in yvr and i doubt the base will grow but this is now. I dont know what the future hold for the yvr base. However, take the summer with 5 and 6 days pairings, it does make commuting easier. The winter with turns... its another story . I m doing the yul yyz commute so ...

Re: Classic Dash replacement??
I have to agree with Hansdietrich. I flew , to be exact , 1410 flights on the classic at Jazz. While most the guys made it a blast and i had some serious great times, past the initial excitement i truly didnt enjoy the aircraft. The summer you are sweating on the ground, the winter you are freezing....

Masterservo Let me bring back the time when a female pilot at air canada had put in a complaint for finding pornography in the cockpit on a AC plane. Clearely they most likely weren't "young rakes" in the flight deck back then as this was pre massive 2015 hiring spring. Also grindr is a social netwo...

Re: Skydive Operators - NOT SKYDIVE TORONTO
Hey there! If you wanna get into paradrop, consider coming in Quebec. Quebec has 75% of the skidiving activity in canada. I personally flew 3 and a half summer, in gatineau. First it started off as Goskydive, but after Parachutisme Adrenaline took over. Flying for Fred, one of the owners of Adrenali...

What about the dh8 classic equipment? We have fms , able to do baro vnavs, an autopilot that can fly you to 50 feet on a cat2. I d say for a 30 years old plane we have quite decent equipment on board. And lets not forget the fancy taws screen that comes up on the fms !!! Oh by the way, to the evas c...

Re: Keeping white shirts white
Alot of bleach. Fill up your washing machine just with white shirts. When the water is full for the old style machines or half way thru its fill up with the new front loading type, add about 1/2 liter of bleach. I wash my 6 shirts all at once and they come out impeccable. Also i change a shirt once ...

I ve only ever flew the marquise.
however the first difference that comes to mind between a short mu2 and the marquise is that on a short you cann add an extra fuel tank in the back. so that would increase your range. And also help with weight and balance issues.

Ok folks lets have a look at the flight from the beginning. This was a marquise carrying 7 people, and fuel to get to la madeleine. I was taxing out of 101A that night and we got slightly delayed as that 1900 taxied into his gate i think was 105... Anyway, koodos at the crew, great job bringing it down. The right orizontal tail fin was badly damaged ( sorry the 1900 had too many fins to know the name of each) But again good job!...
