Re: Cargo TA

I joined the webinar late. Have they discussed the bullshit pay yet? Painful to listen to. Said the 90% is from a previous agreement or understanding, I didnt understand what they were talking about. Its so painful to listen to them sell this. I cant honestly picture how someone could vote for this...

Don't be so sure. Virtually everyone I've spoken to is a No. And this isn't the forum crowd either.
I will be truly shocked if it doesn't pass. In my 4 years at AC EVERYTHING passes..... Problem is people obviously don't truthfully tell you how they vote.

Re: Air Canada and Transat announce Increased Purchase Price to $18 per Share

Guys, Why do we become competitors as pilots? Just cause we wear a different colored hat or uniform? I am actually curious where this notion comes from that pilots are competing against one and another. When in actuality, we are all the cut of the same cloth, doing what we love, trying to provide f...

Re: Air Canada and Transat announce Increased Purchase Price to $18 per Share

At this point everything is possible but my guess is AC will continue and keep A.T separate ... And if you think this transaction is dead 2 days ago Air Canada and Air Transat together apply for a provincial bailout :smt008 They didn’t do it together. In the article written it clearly says seperate...

KENN BOREK in MIAMI (OPF)

Down in Fort Lauderdale, I’ve been seeing a KENN Borek Basler doing some sort of patrol on the shoreline at night about 10-20 miles wide at 600 feet about 1 mile offshore. Call sign is AZAZ0909

Any idea what this flight does?

I have never flown with anyone at an airline who doesn’t get rid of the shoulder harness above 10,000 feet.

Re: AC offer AT $13 per share

Alti, Tsam. Fantastic. That's exactly the point I was trying to make. It shouldn't be necessary to out incidents of retards as justification that a group is less worthy than another. There's no point in going down the path of "outing" the minority of douchebags that slip through the cracks. Air Can...

I'm a 3rd year F/O at AC and as much as I like the idea of the junior AC people that have been posting about BOTL it will NOT happen nor do I really think it should. AS TSAM said they are coming into it with airplanes and experienced crews of which AC needs. Selfishly I don't want this merger for my...

Newly hired FO with a 705 carrier. I'm a career changer. Anything can change between now and 4 years but AC is the goal. Yes, crappy pay to start but what the heck, it's AC. Can't beat red. What are forecasted hiring trends looking like? How long do we suspect this wave will last? Age 65 retirement...

Re: Deal or No Deal?

They know that the guys with less than 17 years to go in their career will probably vote yes because they want job security until they retire and the majority of the bottom half of the list will want to go to AC. So your saying it’s a good deal for the majority of Jazz Pilots Not at all, I’m saying...
