Wow. This post was inactive for a few years lol. The medical was really easy. I worked there at two different times and went through two different medical/fitness tests. No drug test's at that time (5 yrs and 2 yrs ago), but you did provide a urine test to show if you were diabetic or not as mention...

I totally agree that YYZ is definitley the worst.

it depends as well what position ur going for. They'll hire to make up for losses to my knowledge.

the old rule 8 hours bottle to throttle. There is no excuse for what they did except for bad PDM and a night that shoulda happened when they never had a flight the next morning.

Well, i just had an interview in person today with westjet for the TAC position. Ramp Rat.
Just wondering if anyone knows what the medical involves. I got my Cat 1 trans canada one allready so the medical part dont bother me but the interview said theirs also a physical check like pushups etc.

i am going to end up gettin my commercial one day.. training currently etc. Would an FA Job help me out in anyway for future, ie getting to be known, or is it something i should stay away from. Seen an ad for westjet as p/t FA which would be great so i could still continue my studies.

I wouldnt worry bout it too much. I took my Cat 1 Last summer. I'm 18. They did all normal tset including an ekg..i think its called that. And i never had no rubber glove thing....thank god. I actually thought my health wasnt great but doc said i am in peak physical health so u learn something every...
