Hello everybody, If I convert a TC CPL with group 1 IR-ME to a FAA Commercial with Instrument and Multi Rating, would I still need to get the complex aircraft and high performance aircraft endorsements or is it "included" ? I didn't find anything in the FAR or the forums so if anyone has a reference...

<about a billion words redacted... they sure took a long time to type, were they important?> Where I am at now, I think my main open question is whether 1) I will be able to get a new aviation document book that isn't expired without a valid medical in Canada; You will. In fact you must, otherwise ...

Re: Getting back into flying - Canadian licence in USA?
Hello everyone, I'm resurecting this thread because I'm in a somewhat similar situation. I'm hoping Spurcap is still around to comment on how the process went. My situation is : - got everything in Canada in 2012-2013 (PPL CPL IR-ME [and FI but i know this one isn't convertable]). Flew a few hundred...

Ride Sharing, and advertising of these flights, has been deemed legal by the EASA member states Hi, Do you have a link to back up this ? I dont know about Germany but in France, you'd be in a very very dark grey area of the regulations. I "can't wait" to see one accident happen and the investigatio...

Re: AB gov wage info on pilots
Hi,
I checked on . (http://..com/?page_id=297).
According to the link above, a 12 years captain working 80h/month would make about 170k. It's not even close to the 200-300k range !
I understand this website isn't up to date anymore but the gap looks huge to me.

Hello everybody, I'm a student about to get my PPL in the prairies. I'm looking for interesting destinations/trips to go to for my time-building. I dig up this topic because I was thinking about going from the prairies to Vancouver. I'd fly over the mountains somewhere in the triangle Grande Prairie...
