The Nov GS is about to start (12th). Next one will most likely be in January. The next equipment bid will show the vacancies/requirements for LCC.

Re: Air Canada Interviews

I'm sure most will get called within 2-3 days this week. 5 is just a number for the people who are waiting in anticipation :)

Who knows. Might even take more than 1 week. Either way... They will give you enough notice prior to the start date.

[quote="TheStig"]Being told the next ground school will be in November, there were 50 vacancies on the latest bid with 18 of those spots being filled by the September course. Things are likely to slow down with pilots now staying past 60. The total number of pilots required will not increase until t...

Re: Air Canada Interviews

Just got invited to the interview in September. Nervous as hell. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :prayer: Congrats. Dress smart, get a good night's sleep. Have examples to the typical behavioral questions. You can google "Air Canada Interview Gouge" but try not to rehearse the answers. Be ...

Re: Air Canada Interviews

Well said guys, there has been too much discouragement and negativity on this forum. Times are changing, so will working conditions. We need to adapt but at the same time not be a door matt.... very fine line. Either way congrats to all those who are joining AC, you should be proud for achieving you...

Re: Air Canada Interviews

All valid points and but don't assume only hours get you in. Maybe the other candidates did poorly on the COG test or interview. You can have thousands of hours and experience but might lack something in other areas. Sometimes there is just a surplus of guys in the process and someone with a lower g...

Re: AC arbitrated agreement

Very unlikely Jazz will see EMJ's as AC wants to either find a buyer for them or return them to lessor. There is a high possibility of getting more 705's at Jazz. 100/200 are obsolete and will be phased out eventually.

Re: Air Canada Interviews

I know the dust hasn't setteled yet, but for those in the process of being hired, or those who have an application here, will you leave your current job to come here? Took a "gamble" and took the job offer. Either way you look at it, times are changing so can't expect the working conditions/remuner...

lol yes I guess you're right. Times are changing fast in aviation for sure. Let's hope the new contract won't leave us out in the streets after we start. Taking a gamble here before arbitration result comes through.

Any thoughts of what to expect in the contract?
