Re: The Air Canada OTS thread
Source? Wouldn’t be surprised if it is cx for now. My wife just did in person interview today. Only official news from AC is 2 smaller classes to come, still 400-700 needed for new duty regulations by years end. Update about 5 days old now. Everything up in the air, unless your AC stock, it’s not in...

Any truth behind a rumor that there is a specific PFO email going out saying your PFO'd due to not having a university degree?

I know someone called yesterday for Jan 11th class. They were never 'in the pool' and called 2 weeks after the medical.

Re: August Equipment Results

Re: August Equipment Results
Jazz now has a process of 2 sim evals. This just happened over the last week or so I believe. One in full motion, one non motion.
Anyone know why? Looking for more information on this new process for a friend.
Thanks

Re: Best ANR headset with glasses
Ive used the bose A20 thus far. I find wearing sun glasses is annoying for the cancellation, although minor. Various glasses, I usually just lean them upwards so they don't disturb the noise cancellation. You can see fine, however might look like a little funny

The bigger places, (Regina, Toon town, Winnipeg and Calgary all offer opportunities as well). These maybe ramp positions, however are a step in the door. Worked for me! And that trip depending where you start from can be done in a few days.

Re: Employee Standby Travel Line
Ive tryed the regular line for JS, but with no luck. The busy signal is quite common! Once through in the past it was always 20 min to as long as 1.5 hours on hold. Lately, busy signal aside ive found it quite quick, usually right away or 5 min. Non the less, being on hold you certainly become famil...

I found it a few days ago. Seemed to have the Bearskin paint mostly removed, at least the Bear paw and on the front side a small basic "Calm Air" logo put back on.

They are looking for B200 guys. Min 500 hours, but most with more then that recently. There is only about 5 "rampies" and with current movement, there has been lots of outside hiring. The L35 spot is filled.

Yeah i had the opportunity to talk a walk out in the CYRT 0SM G56 VV000 the other day. Fastest Ive ever been in, few more knots and it would have been Category 1 hurricane winds.

I talked to HR there a few years ago about rampy type gigs. They do have rampies but dont make it their mission to hire directly from the ramp. I have also heard from westwind pilots that its not an airline to start out with 250 hours. Best to get a 1000 then go there.
Could be different now though

I agree with the AC pilots actions.
YWG downtown is greaaaasy at best. I live Portage downtown and its harsh. Sandman or 4 points airport hotels, if that's their new location is beauty accommodations.
Just my thoughts
