Re: The Fixed Wing Search and Rescue Saga Continues....
Canada needs SAR and Coast Guard assets much more than we need stealthy (allegedly) go fast, planes. Buy a b...

"I think the F-35 is a waste of time and money and better, cheaper, more appropriate solutions can be had for the money" And what would they be JoeCanuck? Are your solutions based is on your many years as fighter pilot? I mean, how else would you have all the answers! Cheers...Chris Fighter pilots ...

Re: Does a good headset matter?
Has anybody tried the Headsets Inc ANR conversion kit? It seems like an easy conversion for anyone who knows which end of a soldering iron to hold.

There's also this option...probably the best deal for ANR headsets if you already own a passive set;

Re: Alaska Wing Men.
I hate the drama for drama's sake we're getting on all of these northern pilot shows. I understand the 'need' for conflict but the phony danger takes away from the very real dangers. For example; that guy flying diesel into the gold camp in a Turbo Otter. Gee...where's the camp? Well, I guess I coul...

Re: F-35 looking more like white elephant
Put 2 in the touque of the F-35 then go in with SAAB on the Gripen NG. That would give us a very good plane and a chance to build our own fighters.
