I'll check that one out! Yeah, not a mac user myself but it would be nice to have one that automatically backs up the data.
Thanks Gilles

Electronic Logbook
Any recommendations for and Electronic logbook App for an Android user? I don't mind paying a few bucks for one, I just want to make sure it's worth it! Also, I have a few thousand hours already in a paper logbook that I have no intention of transferring (other than just the totals). Are you able to...

Re: Rouge Callsign?
Ahhh interesting.
So will they be operating completely independent? (maintainance, pilots, ground staff etc.) and also, when you book a flight would you book it under Air Canada or Rouge?
just curious!

Re: Rouge Callsign?
I just heard them the other day, they are using "Air Canada" callsign.
Which makes sense because aren't they Air Canada pilots?
Cheers,

Re: Sky Regional Interview
oh, I was unaware SR had a payscale yet. Is it public knowledge or just in house?
And yeah, I knew AC and WJ had far better payscales, I was just comparing between jazz (and I suppose Encore).

Re: Sky Regional Interview
And what I really find funny is that unless I'm missing something, the SR pay is the same as Jazz. According to Airline pilot central website the payscale shows Jazz year 1 pay the same as SR. I'd apologize for continuing the hijack of this thread, but I'm pretty sure it never got of the ground

[quote="ikarus"] I admire your optimism my friend. Honestly, not being sarcastic... But do you really believe that a company that pays THAT LOW is actually sensitive enough to care about seniority and fair play inside their operation??? You could very well be right. They are definetly giving themsel...

Re: Sky Regional Pilot Contract
It seems there are pros and cons to either system. And I'm sure it has a lot to do with personal experiences and where you are at now in your career. I don't know, but after reading the TOE for Sky regional it seems to me like they are trying to incorporate a bit of both. It seems they are recognizi...

Re: what is going to happen if WJ does the regional thing?
KAG, I couldn't agree more. If Westjet payed their new hire 737 F/O's a lesser wage, that would be a "B" scale. If Westjet is going to compete in the regional market they need to play with the same rules (apples to apples). I love how people think Westjet should be the leader in changing the whole i...

Re: CARGO JET LAYOFFS
Neither has CJ (well except for one guy who was management and was assigned a half block)
Which don't get me wrong, it sucks, but these few layoffs haven't affected pilots.
