Re: Sunwing/Westjet
It’s really a shock that only about 6-10 % of words actually make up such a small percentage of commutation. Things like tone of voice or actual body language read so much into this. This is off topic, but such a widespread held belief that it needs to be addressed. This whole '90% of communication...

Quite the laundry list of shortcomings...
Good negotiators would have fixed all those complaints.
Hopefully some of the stone cold avcanada killers will be in the room next time around.
Dare to dream cowardly "cucks"

Couldn't care less superstar, no where near 12yr 37 pay... WJ or AC. Just laughing at the armchair twats, who've never had any negotiation experience, other than buying a used couch on FB marketplace... "never take the first offer" to bad the adults at the table for what 15 months had never heard th...

Thepoors seems to have a quite particular outlook on the way negotiations go, first cucked, then bemt over... Maybe someone really hurt him on his way to becoming a big plane pilot... Hopefully, if he really is an airline pilot, this is all some online, hide-behind-the keyboard act. It is truly unse...

Yes Going from 2%/yr to 10%/yr, massive failure.... Not going on strike is not a surrender, and avoiding possible arbitration is a definite positive. Trudeau was never staying out of this, there is next to zero chance that sec 107 was not going to be invoked, no matter how much hot air came out of a...

By all accounts, the expenses are much more generous in the new contract, and much harder for the company to diddle. Where is the loss here?

Re: 67% yes
Actually they have a valid excuse to not tip now. We lost our gratuity allowance. You didn't lose it, that amount was rolled into the new TAFB per diem system. Which overall is a 30% increase over the old system (tax fee). “Rolled into” is another way of saying “used to finance the new increase” It...

Do you have the 2003 first 2 and 3 year pay scales?
How long were those pay rates in effect?
How long were today's remaining boomers paid these amazing pay rates?

Boomers? The youngest of the baby boomer generation is approximately 57 years old. How large a proportion of the Air Canada pilot group fits into this demographic? How well represented is this generation in the union executive and negotiating committee? As has been stated before, it is most likely t...

Re: 17 days??!!!
I would argue 16 is too much. You should be able to be at home, uninterrupted at least half the month. You can. It’s called seniority. So the 35 year old captain with 2 young kids at home should be on the road 18 per month so the 60 year old can only work 8. Got it. Makes sense. Not an expert, but ...

Do they work in a country where the thought of anyone getting ahead is a immediate cause for jealousy? The Liberal government would probably get a boost f...
