Who would be responsible and who would pay to push a plane away from the gate and find a place for it to sit out the storm?
[/quote]
And airlines couldn't be bothered to push an empty plane out of a gate to let ones stranded on the ramp come in and unload.

The Catalina had an endurance of over 24 hours. The “Secret Order of the Double Sunrise” was a name bestowed to those who enjoyed a 24 hour trip on QANTAS operated Catalinas between Perth and Ceylon during the war. New video just this week. It's like this guy is trolling Avcanada looking for video ...

As per the article: "Air Canada offers an unaccompanied-minor service for a fee of $100 plus tax, where staff will escort children and young people from the check-in area to their destination. It is mandatory for children aged eight to 11, and optional for youth aged 12 to 17. It is only available o...

Yup. Owner wants to put in a Garrett! Not sure why. Even with the Walter, he gets an incredible amount of attention from Enforcement. Are there there speed limits and or regulations for certain types of pilots/planes/operations? And if so would ATC data be the only way to enforce such regulations?

These are some really impressive landings. They got me thinking, how many of these were hand flown? With no auto thingys or NAV aids and what not? Most responders here seem equally impressed at how well these landings turned out, but over in another thread some Bananna man poster gets a new one ripp...

Re: Emergency Landing on Highway 402
So how did the plane get from the highway back to the airport? Fresh battery, more fuel, up...up...and away? Or take it apart to fit onto a flatbed? Would it fly with that damage? Would they let the guy who landed it there take it off again? Nopilot, just some guy that lives off the end of a runway,...
