Most recent junior Q400 position in YVR went to a pilot with 1 year seniority (effective Dec 1, 2019). (just for a reference for those wanting YVR)
How come the new GS offers 50% Q's out of YVR ? :?

Re: AVRO 100 First Officer or King Air 200 Captain

Regarding being home every night. Everyone's desires and everyone's situation is different, so take this for what it's worth, but being home every night may not be the be-all-end-all that it's often made out to be. I have two pre-school aged kids and a wife that works 9-5 Mon-Fri. I'm middling to lo...

Re: 17 year TA?

If you are junior and don't like it, vote yes and go to AC. Where they can continue to treat you like shit. I think this is an effort from AC to "groom" us (while saving money of course). Get us used to accepting shitty deal after shitty deal. Then by the time they hire us we're used to shitty deal...

Re: Deal or No Deal?

Can anyone tell me why Georgian pilots getting DOH is even being considered? Is it something that the MEC is volunteering to do to help out our union brothers? Is it something that Chorus wants to do in order to get some experienced pilots? Does Air Canada want it to happen for some reason? If it's ...

Re: Canadian Pilot Unity

I'll be honest, I'm pretty new to all of this union stuff. I'm a nice guy and I'd like everyone to get a good deal. But please explain this to me: How would it be a good deal to myself, a 1 year FO at Jazz, to vote for something that is going to shoot a bunch of guys from Georgian above me in senior...

Re: Pacific Coastal Airlines

The company pays for accommodations. You just sign the sheet and take the hotel keycard.

I believe they will fly you in for the interview/eval on their network, but outside of that you're on your own.

I'm not there anymore but It's a good place to work. Employees are treated pretty well.

Re: Orca is no longer

I say PASCO or WJ link grow a pair and start service to Tofino, using a real airplane for the job instead of some operator using a clapped out Hoe or single engine Caravan.. More grapevines tell me that PASCO is in fact starting a scheduled run to Tofino. It's not really a secret or anything. http:...
