Re: BONDS and PRESSURE
It's either way too late, I've had one too many Jack and coke's, or I'm on some sort of a sugar high, but that image is funny as shit!! You don't seem like the 'fetch me some cookies' or 'get me a pillow' kind of guy Doc! but thanks for the laugh!

Re: Airports that require Holding Fuel
I'm hoping the statement referred to adding fuel over and above the "required" amount for the flight, not fuel to take it over gross.

Re: Flying in light/moderate icing
I normally don't care to chime in on stupidity, well not all the time anyways, but seriously?? You have a 'rule' for flying a non icing equipped aircraft in icing?? Having flown in NWO for a few years I can bet my arse that certain operators propagate this mentality because 'it's not that bad' or 'I...

It's official, July 19th I do believe is the actual retire date. He will be missed for his contribution to aviation in NWO.

Re: Is Wiarton a fun place to fly for dinner ?
Not sure about Wiarton but been to Peterborough a few times and the breakfast at the airport is awesome, at least for a big eater like me! The restaurant at the airport in Wiarton is unpredictable as far as being open, at least as far as I found out. The used to have bicycles at the airport that you...

Re: ATPL study Material
I used the Aerocourse material and highly recommend it. I also took the course in YWG and you get things from the course that aren't in the manuals. Anyone who's taken the course will learn to love those photocopied sheets of previously asked questions that came right from the TC exams.

Re: Cleared out of Controlled vs Cleared for the Approach
So another question about leaving controlled airspace, especially up North. When 'cleared out of high level controlled airspace' are you still required to to proceed direct to your destination before you are through FL180 or can you head for an initial fix on an approach, unless you're 'cleared out ...

Re: filling out tax form tl2
I've also gotten my employer to sign the T2200 form so I can claim my cell phone as well. If you're required to be on call you can claim the whole lot as an employment condition. Not sure if you need the T2200 signed to claim it on the T777 but it's nice to have it in case the CRA comes knocking.

Re: Bearskin
Kinda, you take out a loan in your name and they make the monthly payments until it is paid off. In the event you leave before the 2 years is up on the loan, you own it.
