Re: Changes to Pass Travel

Can someone explain to me in a nutshell what these passes mean and what is the difference say from a C4 to a C1 or C2. I might be in a position to recieve C4 passes, so just curious where these passes would put me in the lineup when trying to get on an AC flight.

For the people that got hired recently, how long did it take AC to call you back to let you know you were hired?

Re: Calls for upcming courses

When there is talk about calls going out for upcoming courses, does this mean that people that have already interviewed will get called or does this mean that initial calls will go out to people to interview for these courses?

Thanks

Re: LifeGuard 3 King Air B200 off runway Maple Creek SK

Five people escaped serious injury when a medevac flight from Slave Lake skidded off the runway while trying to land at City Centre Airport at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday. One person on board the plane suffered minor injuries while the other four were not injured. All five were taken to the Royal Alexand...

Re: LifeGuard 3 King Air B200 off runway Maple Creek SK

Badgergirl, I am just curious if you have talked to transport canada to see what the guidelines are for our airport operators to follow, as far as snow removal and runway conditions. The reason I ask this, is because when I look at those pictures of that nice king air all bent up, I keep on seeing t...

Re: LifeGuard 3 King Air B200 off runway Maple Creek SK

I found this little article while surfing and I thought it was worth throwing it on here, as it seems there is some discrepency to be two crew or single pilot. Kind of interesting how the two crew enviornment can get quite out of control as well. TSB Report on Air Transat Airbus A310 Close Call The ...

I heard about a year ago, that the rumour on the street was that the Sask Gov. was going to go two crew, they just had to get it passed, approved, or however that works with government.

Airlines and larger hail while parked!

Sorry if this is a silly question, but when a storm with larger hail (golf ball or baseball size) rolls through the A/D and say there are 50 aircraft at the gates. What really happens to the aircraft? I am assuming they would get the crap beat out of them like a car, therefore would they be grounded...

Air Transat A330 Question

Here is a question for an A330 skipper. Flew home last week on the A330 and it seemed whenever the brakes were applied there was a metal pipe like, banging sound (quite loud) and it also seemed when they released the brakes the banging sound was present just not as loud. Can't say that I heard this ...

Also on average what would take home be on year three the 25% option?
