Re: The Return to Normal?

Sorry, I was so livid with assholes that don’t wash their hands that I double posted. FFS! I love when you see guys at the airport walk out of the washroom stalls straight for the exit ....after doing the number 2...even more exiting is when you see one of the airline guys in uniform  Hope the...

Re: The Return to Normal?

Crackpot conspiracy theory??? So Rockie, do you really believe all the money our governments are giving is really "free", because our politicians love us all, to throw money at us, at all the corporations and small business ....you know how they say, there is no free lunch. Time will show why did go...

Re: The Return to Normal?

RippleRock, agreed fully. All I see is a number of media reports questioning if there is a link. I watched for two years as Rachel Maddow of MSNBC and the rest of the MSM questioned a link between Trump and Russia, and we all know how that turned out. Yes. but no one cares about that right now, so ...

Re: The Return to Normal?

Quebec has 2800 deaths due to COVID-19 and zero of them are people under 30, and 90% are 70 or older, most of whom were in long term care facilities or retirement homes. We now know who is at risk. Take the measures to isolate them and let the rest of us go back to work. Agreed. But obviously some ...

Re: The Return to Normal?

Problem is that the media controls 90% of narrative and you can see their blue print narratives they talk during evening news, everywhere! First it was all fear, death tolls, lockdowns..now suddenly northern hemisphere is lifting lockdowns ...interesting Italy which got hit "heavy" (at least that MS...

Snopes???! For real? A website was run by a couple, of which one left his wife and married a former porn star. Re: Virus and Bookings

I'm not afraid...to be honest (at least not yet). But I'm disappointed... that we humans got our selves to this point. Then again, considering how we behaved in just the last 50 years, its no wonder something had to come our way at one point.

Re: AC Application confirmation email, need advice

Dude. I am not trying to be rude, but.......have you been living in a cave for the last while? With massive haemorrhaging, schedule cuts, possible layoffs due to COVID-19 I don’t think the hiring departments at any airline will be too busy for the foreseeable future. I was thinking the same...not s...

Re: Grab a seat. The music is stopping

I agree KAG.

This is maybe over inflated and in some places blown out of proportions ...BUT nevertheless, the damage is done, thanks to media as well complete unpreparedness by majority of countries around the world ....This will be one hell of a roller coaster ride! Most likely a downhill ride...

Not to take away from your analysis, but Easyjet operates over 300 aircraft.

As for European airlines going down, another one hit the dust within a day or two of Air Italy. Atlas Global from Turkey.

Re: A message to all GGN Pilots from a Jazz Pilot

It really is a simple choice for GGN pilots....either you stay or you move on to Jazz. Jazz (ALPA that is) has to decide on a cut off date, as it would be really unfair for any new Jazz hires (coming off the street) to be over taken by GGN pilots that end up dragging their feet beyond the agreed cro...

Apparently Adria Airways (Slovenia) is on the edge as well.

Two planes repossessed by lessors yesterday. Apparently a third one is on the way out.

Re: Sukhoi Superjet on fire Moscow

Is it me, or does it look like the engines (or at least starboard one) was still running during the evacuation video?? It seems like major flames are shooting out from the back, although it's hard to see, since the entire half of aircraft was burning..

Re: Record revenues vs 4 year flat pay

The piece you don't understand Schnitzel, is the low starting pay has nothing to do with Air Canada (The Corporation) and everything to do with ACPA. The company could care less if the 4000 Pilots were all paid exactly the same, all that matters to them is the cost of the entire Pilot payroll. It i...

No more flying to Europe, period. It looks like enitre European airspace and Australia and parts of Asia have placed a ban on the MAX at the moment. Interesting times ahead for Boeing. Re: Jazz Payscale Updated 2019

You guys can spin these pay rates all day long, how ever you want guys....but bottom line in 2019 entry level pay is embarrassing both for Jazz or AC....but obviously 70% (Jazz) said they are happy to go with it, so it's time to move on. I will say though that Jazz contract is superior to many other...
