The bond should not be a surprise to you because they disclose this to you in the interview.
My question is what is someone already has a type rating with time on type? Should you be bonded for that (full amount) again?

Re: Deadheading, Flight Duty Time?
Sorry, old tipic but I gotta ask.. Say you do a duty from 1230 and after 4 legs you finish at 00:00 (including 30min post flt duty). Company wants you to deadhead to home base on a 05am flight the next day. Is this legal, because I know DH after work doesn't count, but still.. Going to a hotel that ...

Re: 321 YYZ
Indeed 62k ins't anything to write home about but the firsts 4 years are still good in comparison. Many come from other jobs and make it work, the salary and working conditions aren't perfect but they're not a surprise either. If it doesn't work for you go somewhere else or wait till salaries go up...

Re: 321 YYZ
Would anyone care to post first 4 years of pay and current perdiems. Are guys automatically trained for mix fleet or is it A321 for a certain period before you go mix? Is there a bond? What kind of Sched can a new guy expect? Block then a reserve month or something different? If you feel more comfor...

Re: Pilot shortage …? Reality or fake news ..
Start paying proper wages, give people reasonable schedule and chance to progress in their careers and you won't have a shortage.
Otherwise you will continue to have a "shortage" of slave pilots.

Re: No pilot recalls until Spring 2023???
We beat to death this issue under Vax mandate few topics below... But unfortunately people were to blind to see where are we all headed. And now more and more people who did their due diligence and got 2 shots are starting to ask themselves - when does this stop!? As long as we keep complying - it w...

Re: Omicron layoffs?
Hopefully no more lay offs.... Oh, btw omicron is just a cool new marketing word to get you boosters shots on top of what you have gotten already. And if you say no, then no job for you. So technically it won't be a lay off for some, more like self resignation, if you choose to not participate in th...

Re: Take the vaccine, or lose your job - WTF?
You should work for Factchecker.org I actually talk to a doctor who is a wife of a captain I flew with. She has multiple patients come in her clinic daily in the last week or so, who are triple jabbed and are basically dying she said. "We don't know who to help first, that's how bad it is" In anothe...

Re: Take the vaccine, or lose your job - WTF?
If you truly are open minded, you wouldn't be insulting me in the first place ... But let's try to be civil, because I don't talk to my colleagues in the flight deck like that, and I would say you don't either. If you are open minded as you say, then you would be understanding of someone else's posi...

Re: Take the vaccine, or lose your job - WTF?
I've been overseas for the past 6 months and life in this part of the world has been more or less normal, apart from obvious indoor mask use. Hadn't we already established your country's daily mortality rate is proportionally higher than Canada's by a significant magnitude? Not sure this is the ide...

Re: Take the vaccine, or lose your job - WTF?
Asking nicely didn't work, so the careless needed to be compelled. You should be a great leader of future SSS division in Canada. Compelling your fellow colleagues to take something inside their body that may or may not work. That still does not prevent transmission or that you can still die. Inste...

On another note... Pfizer scientists say you're own immunity is good or better then the vaccines. But you guys will call this video a conspiracy theory as well. *link deleted* Bullshit post from a known bullshit site. Who cares about the site, the video embedded is legit with factual Pfizer scienti...
