I heard each pilot is assigned to a "relief pilot" role that rotates every week or so, meaning that if you're the relief pilot and you just got landed from JFK at 4am and the pilot who's suppose to do the day run (CYHM-CYQG-CYHM) calls in sick, you as the relief pilot has to cover that day run, and ...

There's a school in the Milton / Burlington area still paying their Class 4's $20 to start, Class 3 is an extra $1

Getting Sick During a Pairing

How does OPS/Dispatch handle situations when a pilot gets to sick to fly while in the middle of their pairing? How about if a pilot has a family emergency and needs to get back home??

does anyone know how long the contract between AC and SR is set for?? Someone posted that hopefully this time next year SR will be a bad memory.
I have applied for a non-flying position and if SR will be a bad memory in 12 months I may not accept...if offered.

It's not so much a choice over turbine or piston...it's the equipment they have, that's all. I work full time ramp and joined in the early stages of training. Now that I my Cpl and IFR I got my pcc on their plane and fly when my ramp schedule allows me to go fly. The plane doesn't fly that much to b...

Low time guy with an opportunity to do about an 150 hours a year on a single engine turbine while working in a different full time position for the same operator. However I need to build as many hours as possible and considering leaving to become a full time instructor. Not sure what the better road...
