On Flightaware there saying that inbound flights to YYZ are being held on average of 7 hours and 25 minutes at there origins.
Is this realistic to those working in Toronto ATC?

GA pilot medical rights
Corporate pilot that has a medical issue. Company stopped paying me after holidays and medical days expired.
They are holding my position, I'm wondering if they can just stop paying me and how long do they have to protect my job?
Thanks for any info or insight if you've had this happen to you.

Re: Jumping from airline to corporate?
Chartright is making an effort to make any of their planes that are used for charter have a 3 person crew.
Those crews seem to be 10 on and 5 off, that must improve crews "lifestyle".
Not sure what the pay is like.

Re: New yyz slots..this is gonna hurt!
From last post, no I didn't delayed by slots, but that may be because we ended up flying another leg that had us arrive at 01:30. Wonder when airlines are going start putting on pressure with the added costs, overtime, delays causing missed connections at one of the worlds most expensive airports to...

It's noon and I'm heading back to YYZ this PM, flight aware says at present 2+10 ground hold in effect, could make for a long day! Regards helo's from out side the city, pprune had threads concerning helicopter traffic in and around London and how the local population was starting to complain, could...

Re: New yyz slots..this is gonna hurt!
It may work as it does in Europe, pax late you might get to travel that day maybe not, so be on time, it will happen once and they will get the msg. I don't see the downside from the pilot side, the charter sales people will have to educate clients and owners will need to make a plan and stick to it...

Re: RMC OC looking for flight training advice.
When I went through those with zero flight time failed 90% of the time. That was the early eighties, those with more than 10 hours of instruction where closer to 50%. It was an extension of the selection process. Shortly there after you needed a PPL to get into pilot training. My understanding is th...

It is located, or was last night about 50 meters pointed west in a field north of Major MacKenzie off the 404 highway, might be 2 miles north of Buttonville.

Re: Flying an amphib without a seaplane rating
That is all very nice discussion however every time I read one of these questions my immediate question is, will insurance pay if something is damaged. Transport may wage there finger at you, but if your not covered by insurance you could be out a lot of money and open to being sued.

Can any of the aerobatic guys tell if your allowed to go from either positive to negative or vice versa because of the possible "g LOC"?
I though an airshow official explained that was not allowed. the example was an inverted climb with a pull back onto the showline.

As general comment of flying in a non radar area; don't lie about your position; had that happen in the Caribbean and it caused a real cock up for more than just me. We where just on topping a mandatory position to an airport when an aircraft reported he was at the same point when in reality he was ...

Oh yes I remember when!
Great fun when I was current; it's now just a fond memory.
Don't try that unless you've trained to do it.

On my last sim in the US last month with a US sim instructor. He advised us that a US plane has to be landed in a specific touch down zone ( could be 1500 ft long) or there is a possiblity of violation. Could be a reason for forcing the nose wheel on?

Re: Buy a plane or instruct to build experience?
Things you might want to consider; when you are an instructor your working with other's in a professional relationship; if you teach to a high standard you get a good "rep" more students more flying. You are also working in the "flying industry" and learning how that industry thinks. The colonel is ...
