Complex, What kind of timeframe does it take from start to finish?
I am very interested in the conversion for a career and would be curious about the specifics with the sim rental and the extra bits that need to be done. A PM would be great if you prefer.

You can fly the circuit at whatever altitude you please, turn crosswind when you feel like it, and formation arrivals are fine with prior communication.

Thanks! I am looking for ATH-YYZ, but I won't have many options if it doesn't work out, so for this time I think I will play it safe until I get more comfortable with jumpseat travel.

Yes, EASA does not issue a license for a frozen ATPL, but the term is widely used among flight schools and some recruiters.

It is correct that there is no Frozen ATPL in Canada, however comparing it directly to EASA which has a frozen ATPL, the criteria is to have the exams written while waiting for the required hours.
