Re: Typical New Hire RP Schedule.

If you hold a block on flat pay are you essentially just working for per diems and maybe the chance of some overtime? As losercruiser said in effect yes. But there’s got to be someone below you on re...

Re: Typical New Hire RP Schedule.
I did a full FO course for 787 RP and then proceeded to sign it off in my license as 787 - RP. Not sure if they were afraid WJ was going to start poaching guys, this was under MS.

Re: July 1, 2017
I would agree I think FMRS is really going to make things challenging. I think it's going to make for a few surprises as far as hiring goes in that you accept a job with a great schedule only to find out they have some wild duty time rules approved under their FRMS. I see we are also going to end up...

Can't recommed Transwest anymore.
Things have gone downhill lately. Seems the concern is more for the bottom line lately then keeping employees happy.

Re: Any info on Transwest Air
Are you talking about the ramp ground school? Think there was about 20 or 25 last year. And nope they don't some people leave, some go elsewhere, some drop from the industry altogether. I believe the longest wait atm is around a a little over a year and a half. Though most are under that. If you don...

Re: Any info on Transwest Air
Some people are bitter with TWA, I haven't had problems with them and I'm right seat from previous ground school. That hangar in YXE is leased out from what I hear. There is a Saab or two sits in there most winter nights.
Don't think it's a year round lease however
