Re: Navigating TATC For Medical
Let me further go down this path. Is there a so called supervisory medical examiner if you feel you're bring treated unfairly.. as in having supplied documentation in the past with no problems now wanting very extensive info

Re: Telemedicine medical question
Class 3, it has expired,
I have read the tc questionnaire which stated " expiring between March 17 and May 2025" . It didn't state had already expired between these dates, that was my only questioning of the wording. Reading further down I believe it states expired not eligible

Re: Group 1 vs group 3 ifr
Do I understand this rule correctly that there is no minimum time requirement in multi engine aircraft for group 1 test Experience Requirements An applicant shall have completed a minimum of: 50 hours of cross-country flight as pilot-in-command in aeroplanes or helicopters of which 10 hours must be ...

Re: Group 1 vs group 3 ifr
Can someone clarify the PPC. Example you have group 3 ifr then go to group 1. Is that saying you don't need to do the multi seperate then the group 3 flight test?

Re: Telemedicine for medical renewal
Really. My doc isn't listed on telemed on TC. I wonder if they can still do it?

Telemedicine for medical renewal
If I'm reading correctly on TC website, you can do medical renewal through telemedicine. How does that work, bp, vision all that. If doc is not listed as telemed can you ask them?

Re: Group 1 vs group 3 ifr
Yes I changed it to group as it should
Instructor told me that doing a multi engine rating is pretty much like doing another play test in a multi
Some schools advertise the do it combined to save time. So that was my point if that makes sense

Re: MIFR vs single
Doing the class 3 first then down the line the multi engine rating, then of course adding the class 1 after, is it that much more expensive than the other way around, multi than class 1?

Re: MIFR vs single
Yes I agree and that was what I was referring to class 3 or 1. In this aviation climate I'm thinking a bit more of realism of use. I was under the impression that doing the class 1 was combinding multi training with the ifr. But as I understand the whole multi is done by itself first with flight tes...

Group 1 vs group 3 ifr
Is it really much more cost effective to do the multi for over the single if it might be awhile til you can use the multi. Instructor said multi engine rating, not the ifr, is basically same test as ppl and ifr is mostly SIM training

In all honesty I think this virus would spread a lot no matter what. Let's hope you're right, everyone needs it.

Re: Iceland success. Same as Alberta plan
Not what I'm saying but if you don't take care of yourself are you going to blame everyone else for heart disease also. Where was help for the seniors in the home. Nowhere, but let's stop people from being able to live and survive. We haven't even talked about the mental health cost, that will be ma...

Re: Iceland success. Same as Alberta plan
Look at Los Angeles county the most locked down mask mandated area since March of last year. How did that work out. 1 in 5 had virus. 15000 small business are done. CBSA says 74% of people excepted from quarantine that entered Canada . How does that work. Iceland is a small country. So it's a bit di...

Re: Iceland success. Same as Alberta plan
It's not exactly the same but shows what was being done was a similar plan with dual testing. If you're a liberal I'm sure your fine with all this
