Absolutely true. If you have a degree, go to the wj family, sw or at, wait there while building a useful seniority number. At least if you are pfod you're already in a good spot. Plus there an incentive to hire senior guys from sky who are pushing for alpa. Jazz folks on the bscale cost nothing to j...

With maybe 2-3 in the may gs, and 0 in june gs at AC you have to review. Guys I know at Jazz are applying at TS or SW to get out.
The wj family sends 3 or 4 times more candidates to mainline than express....

Nobody from jazz on the june GS...

Last June PIT course of 24:

12 WJ family
1 Sky
1 GGN
0 Jazz

Express guys interviewed in may/june are getting in aug and sep as well

Mainline hasn't decided theirvgs dates yet, Jazz might be waiting after them to see how much they are loosing..
Also sky is hiring quite a bit, but you need at least 1500h with more experience than Jazz is asking for.

Interesting, how much from jazz on each AC gs these days? Used to be a lot..

Have calls gone out for September?

Just got a nod from one of my references, that they just got a call from AC yesterday; which I'm going to take as a positive sighn. I was interviewed back in April, and buddies at AC have both said that they understand that ground schools are going to start again in September. I guess we shall see....

Anybody else got the e-mail stating their application was on hold for maximum 12 months?

Is it true that issuing conditionnal offers is no longer a thing, but that the company instead sends a 12 month e-mail?

Just got the e-mail stating my file was on hold for 12 months. Looks like a pool e-mail to me. Went through the whole process, including medical more than a month ago. Anyone got this before? And what should be expected? Never heard of such an answer before. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Has Air Canada started calling express pilots through the new online portal? How does it work?
