Re: Any US Visa success stories?
Does the EB2 give you the legal rights to work in the US while you wait for the green card?
Are you applying to companies there while you do all your licence conversions?
Cheers

You would think with their recent purchase by "the Borg" that they would get rid of their ridiculous bond and actually offer a decent salary but no.

Re: P180 job ad: "don't apply"
Ah, I see. Interesting. So would you say it's based on personal insecurities about relative experience, or perceptions about potential attitudes that might be brought into the flight department? I would imagine there are significant differences in how corporate versus airlines operate and what is e...

Re: Manitoba Medevac
Any more recent comments from those flying med in Manitoba? Judging from the number of ads looking for pilots it seems like a high turnover gig - surprising to me seeing as someone with experience could come in at $100K and 2 weeks in 2 out with flights paid for. TIA

Renewing a Long Expired Type Rating
A type rating expired over 6 years ago and needs to be renewed.
Is it a full initial course or is it a renewal?
TIA

I wonder if they are trying to get a pool of good candidates together now for interviews later on closer to the spring... Good luck with that in this job market. Might as well wait till the spring, because they'll have to restart anyways if that's the plan :P I was thinking the same - why "hire" wh...

Yes I agree completely North Shore.
A few years back they were adamant that people have a bunch of tail wheel and float time but I'm not sure if that is still the case.

Third job ad I've seen from them this fall plus one for a Chief Pilot.
Are they really having a hard time finding people?
Anyone applied and heard back?

Re: Carson Air 2019
I believe the Citations are based in YVR. I was offered dec there some years back - it was 70k at the time. Not sure if that has changed. Your info on YLW is correct but it is just 350s. The really ridiculous thing about that place is the bond - it is structured so that you are on the hook for initi...
