In this video it does not look like any fluids are leaking from the plane.
I would guess perhaps they ran out of fuel or something like this given no visible fuel on the ground shortly after the crash but I'm just guessing here.

Re: VIDEO: V Tail Bonanza flips over on landing
Looks like they missed the runway and touched down in the grass. As they crossed the taxi way it looks as tho the front wheel/strut collapses and then they go to the left where they strut hits the runway edge and a$$ over head it goes. I just watched it in super slow motion. The nose gear was never...

Oh NOOOOOOOO. Not the awful communism! ANYTHING BUT THAT. What should we do? Obviously democracy isn't working if it means a small minority of conspiracy theorists can't use their guns to prevent the scary communism. It's not like you could go vote and then accept the results until the next electio...

Re: Adventure of a job search
Reading this make me thankful for the choice I made to go fixed wing. Just a heads up though, Sky Helicopters is very local to me. I have been there many times and in fact my ex worked for the parent company that owns Sky. You may want to check in with them again. I know all the people there and the...

Re: Free PPL Ground School
This is great! I'm already on a platform that is out there so it may not be the biggest help to my goals but this is an amazing thing to offer. I will be passing this along to many people I know who are interested in flying. I also think you should put some sort of PayPal link or donation link. I kn...

Re: Current Job market for Rotor / New Pilots
I spent 3 years seriously considering this. I had invested money getting as much learning in before I started as a student. In those 3 years there were a ton of changes. The biggest of which was COVID. As of right now, talking to the people I have meet and know around my area, there is no point in ...

Re: Ontario vs. BC
I have lived in B.C. most of my life. I was looking into the heli stuff prior to starting my PPL and from EVERYTHING I have been hearing, if this is a career move, then you are going to hard pressed finding any work with heli operations right now. I also hear that if you intend on flying in BC that ...

Re: Spin Recovery Altitude
Must recover by 2000AGL. So to be entering a spin for training you should be at least 3000AGL to allow for 1000ft loss of altitude in a 1 turn recovery. In my experience recovery is often before 1000ft of altitude loss but if you are training you need room for error. According to the POH it should b...

Re: Harv Air vs Pro IFR vs Moncton Flight College
The cost of living here is for sure higher than the other two options, no question there. You are correct that there is a much larger base to draw from over this way for it. As for controlled airspace, IMO, unless you plan on flying for pleasure use only from uncontrolled airspace you should conside...
