Many thanks for the info!
I notice that the YWG flights leave between Midnight and 3:00am. So if I’m understanding correctly, commuting is certainly possible.
Ok...... next question; are there any affordable crash pads, day rooms, hotels or air B and B’s near the airport??
Cheers!

Re: Cargojet
Just wondering what time are you generally getting back to YHM? Would it be possible to jump seat to YWG the same night, or will you have to wait until the following night?

Re: Cargojet
Hey Guys,
Are there any Cargojet commuters who can comment on the commuting from YWG?
I understand that Cargojet will provide AC passes, but only for existing employees as new hires are NOT NECESSARILY going to get them.
Your Input is appreciated,

Re: First few years pay
Is there much opportunity for Over Time? Do you bid for it? Or do they just call you from time to time and ask if your interested? Getting by on what is effectively 54k for the first 12 months is going to be a serious challenge to say the least.... By the way, I appreciate that it may vary from type...

Re: 436 Vacancies Until Summer 2019
Anyone know what the first year pay is at AC? I've looked around, but got some seriously conflicting answers.. I've just heard that they called my referances last Wednesday, but nothing heard yet. Then again it might be a moot point anyway; if the first year pay is as low as one of the estimate Ive ...

Re: Have I just got an Air Canada PFO???
Just got a nod from one of my references, that they just got a call from AC yesterday; which I'm going to take as a positive sighn. I was interviewed back in April, and buddies at AC have both said that they understand that ground schools are going to start again in September. I guess we shall see.....

Have I just got an Air Canada PFO???
Hey Guys, I did the interview process back in April, and got an email back a few weeks ago that has had me scratching my head to be honest. Not sure of the exact wording, but it goes something like... “Dear Awesome Dude, thankyou for interviewing with us...blah blah blah.....we are not hiring at the...

Re: Encore Flightpath interview/info
I went throught the process a couple of months ago; 6500 hrs TT, 1100 MTPIC, 400 hrs jet. Interview was pretty stright forward, 1 pilot and one lady from HR. Pretty much all behavioral questons; "Tell us about yourself"...."Give an example of when..." so nothing really tricky. This was followed by a...

Air Georgian CRJ Pay Scale
Hello Everyone, I've just been offered an interview at Air Georgian for the CRJ, DE Capt. I was offered an interview an interview a couple of years back, but turned it down due to the poor salary; does anyone know what the current pay scale is there for the CRJ? Any current information would be much...

Re: Flying in China.....
Yep, I've looked in to it too. There are some good payscales and rotations there, but often they want 'type rated' guys just like everyone else these days. It would appear that everyone want's experienced pilots flying their airplanes, but no one wants to pay for the initial training. Unfortunately ...

Re: Air Georgian CRJ operation
Hey Guys, Many thanks for the responses. I did originally apply for the Captain slot as I have around 6000hrs TT, most of it turbine PIC, with around 1000 MPIC on a 44,000lbb aircraft. But I was offered the FO seat. I might go along to the interview anyway, just to check it out an ask about upgrade ...

Hello fellow 'skydwellers', Just got a call, (somewhat out of the blue I might add), regarding an interview the FO position on the CRJ. I must say I'm not entirely convinced that this is the direction in what I want to go, but before I decide, I just wanted to know more details regarding the bond. I...

Trans Capital is 12 weeks on, (training and travel NOT included), 5 weeks off. But rotations can be extended, and time off cut short at short notice.

I got the initial package with all the pay and conditions from WJ HR, I went to the interview, and had a couple of phone conversations with them afterwards. Re: Would you work at Encore?
I was offered a post of DE Captain on the Q400, but after a couple of days desperately trying to get math to add up, I came to the conclusion that sadly, I just couldn't afford it. I have to say that I'm very disappointed. I would love to have flown the Q400, I love the Dash product, and the 400 is ...
