Re: AC Incident Nashville
This “Captain” candidate should never have been in the left seat with his non-existent decision making skills. No surprise though, as he also decided it was a good idea to upgrade. He very clearly had no concept of his own limitations and this crap should have been caught ages ago. I’m almost certai...

Re: Vaccine mandate for employees
Here's the point! No idiot in government or a government mandating our industry will order me to take a vaccine that has not been proven to work! We are a free society to choose and NOT be ordered by elected officials. Whatever your thoughts are on vaccines, and I am pro vaccines, they have to be t...

Re: Logging Pilot In Command Under Supervision Time
Picus isn’t actual PIC time. It’s logged as dual and you still sit right seat. The Captain is still PIC. When you apply for the ATPL you can get credit if don’t have enough actual PIC time. BUT you can only use 50% and up to 100 hours. So - If you need 100 hours of pic for the ATPL you have to actu...

Re: Ukraine International PS752
That’s a shocking amount of Canadians in one such place. Condolences. Jordanian news and other reliable sources reporting anti aircraft activity to blame. Sad situation indeed. Not really when you consider that the largest population of Ukrainians outside of Ukraine is here in Canada, and Orthodox ...

Re: Cherokee Six missing near Kingston?
While this is a tragic and sad event it's the type of accident(going from conditions) that pisses me off and it's very upsetting. It was totally preventable and bad decision making of a low time pilot took several lives. The system also failed him by not giving him the tools to make that choice to ...

Re: 2 planes collide in midair on Montreal's South Shore
I can imagine that happening at an FSS, but Towers are normally a little more assertive. I would have expected something along the lines of: "GOI, turn right immediately heading 330 due to conflicting traffic" pretty quickly. The same way we don't pass judgement on pilot actions before having all t...

I'm sorry if I offended anyone and perhaps the tone of my post was a bit on the harsh side.
My intention was to stress the importance of basic writing skills.

This is not meant to be rude but you should probably brush up on your English skills. Learn how to use capital letters and spellcheck.

Re: Windsor Flying Club 172 down in Nashville.
A simple google search of the pilot's name and "Windsor" comes up with this interesting little article. If its the same dude, he's most definitely into some shady stuff.

Re: Air Canada pilot restrained in-flight
I'm honestly surprised there aren't more mental health issues that come up. In all seriousness you have to be a bit mental to become a pilot these days. What sane person would pay the cost of training / education and living expenses to become a pilot, with at best a 10% chance of getting employed i...
