Last position shows them at 696 ft and 119 kts about 2 miles from the airport before disappearing.

Callsign is Apex 511. Sounds like tower lost contact with them a couple miles short of the runway.

I've been into MDW and PWK (Palwaukee) a few times each and they are both great. PWK is far less busy, while MDW gives easier access to downtown. Customs at PWK is quicker too.
