Anyone has experience on how to get a refund for cancelling a N R ticket due the airline [Delta] changing the schedule of one of the flights by 10 hrs making an 18 hrs trip 28 hrs long? Delta claims that this is not enough disruption so they just offer a credit for future use but with a $ 300 penalt...

If memory serves I read that Boeing's former chief test pilot Lew Wallick who flew test flights of the 727 37 47 and 57 rolled every single one of them .Dont know how truthful this is.

I just came back from DAB where there is a lot of banner towing and wonder what are the procedures in case of a forced landing . If I was doing the flying and try to land on the beach I carry a fire truck siren or a magaphone to warn the people in my path 8)
