OMG... we lost a good man. This is truly sad news
Thoughts and prayers to his family, and a speedy recovery to the pilots

Lots of viewpoints and ideas. My favorite is the fact that the English Catholic Church is calling flying a sin.

Has anyone had any success overseas?
I'm just wondering how many of you have had landed jobs overseas or know of any Canucks that have had any success. I'm asking because I've moved from home 2 years ago to be in the north and fly, and frankly if I'm going to be away from home I'd rather be somewhere, well, moe exotic. What I'm curious...

Hey, at least the public is going to be made aware of it. How many people do you think would be willing to pay a $500 ticket on a 703 sched if they knew their crew was huffung back oxygen just to stay awake? Remember, pilots coming together and starting a revolution is a great idea (ideal?) But when...

I heard a while ago from a second hand source that the CGAA guys worked on a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off rotation. Can anyone confirm this? If its true, it certainly blows the "having no life" argument out of the water. Its also sad that no one has been able to cite very specific examples of the "unsafe"...

Frankly I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did... if you're employed by a company, why would you publicly bash them online? It doesn't help anybody, not even the person posting it. There's no way to verify the validity of any of the information posted, so even IF the poster says they work for sai...

Another route that my buddies on the ramp took was to go work the oil patch for a season. One of the guys I work with drove a vacuum truck for a full year doing all the overtime he could and he grossed something like $150,000 (I'm not kidding) The company's name is Eveready. That's if you don't want...

ok, having worked at TAL recently I can tell you that its not as bad as some claim it to be. Yes, like any other companies it has its setbacks, but for a class IV looking to build hours and not have to fight over students, its a great place. Really guys, be careful how you interperet what you read o...
