Re: Canadian Electronic Charts and Airport information
Yeah, I couldn't find any free access for Canadian charts. They are not in the PAMS application for Canada. Who knows if they ever will. But the static data is there if anyone really wants to have to learn the complicated software, and then if the data in tabular form is of any use to what one needs...

Here is some info on why Canadian data is available in the European system, just out of interest. You can also google it.

Re: Canadian Electronic Charts and Airport information
Yeah, the application is not user friendly, I agree, but someone asked where free data was available, and the data is there. You really do need to be able to use the application to get it. There is the online tutorial or you can go to Germany and take the class that teaches you how to use it. Charts...

Re: Canadian Electronic Charts and Airport information
Go into SDO Reporting and generate a report based on the data you need. It returns in tabular form. Its all in how you request the report for what data you get. If you need help for the reporting, go to the Eurocontrol website and go under training and select EAD training and there is an online tuto...

Re: Canadian Electronic Charts and Airport information
You can get Canadian data from the EAD. If you want the free (limited) data/functionality, log on for EAD Basic. For a small fee, you can get access to downloads based on AIRAC dates (or more often if wanted) that you can upload directly into your program as long as it is AIXM 4.5 compatible.

Re: Hiring child-bearing age females
I think the original point to this thread was valid and I have often wondered if this exact question was going through the interviewer's mind during any of my job interviews. Some job interviewers do ask "round about questions" to try to sniff out the personal situation, and some have not, in my own...

I'm currently on Mat leave. Our plan is when I return to work my husband will become the primary caregiver. Since he's self employed, he will cut down dramatically on his hours, and try to do his part time around my flight sched. Money will be tight for a few years but its important for us to have o...
