Alberta Central Airways, good times, great people and excellent equipment, spent close to 5 years of my life there, and would do it all over agian. it lead to a great jet jobs, and then the airlines.

It would be really hard to find anyone to say anything bad about ACA.

ACA, a real stand up company.

Which HeadSet For A B737NG

Which HeadSets are most the pilot’s using at WestJet. I am not sure which one I should buy. I have been looking at Telex 750, Telex 850 or the Telex 5X5 Pro.

Thanks

Max Distance or Time Limit for an IFR Alt.

Is there a maximum distance or time limit for an IFR alternate? Or can it be 1000 nm away from the destination airport, or any length of time as long as you have enough fuel to get to it. I’ve been trying to find the answer in the CAR’s but no luck. Example you fly from Yellowknife to Inuvik, and us...

If You do your training and a ride on a full motion level C simulator, do you log it as sim time only, or can it also contribute to your total time?
does 20 hours really matter? who really cares. its 20 hours total time.

I had heard if you get hired by jazz you could delay the date you actually start ground school by up to one year. Is there anybody that could confirm that? Thanks

id take the jet time. put away some cash, and worry about building bulk time later. jet time doesn't come around that often at 500tt.
you can always go back later and get your PA31, PA34 or King Air Job.
but 500 - 1000 hours of jet time will help you out later in you career.
