Your first aviation medical will require an audiogram. It’ll be up to the RAMO if the results are acceptable. The only thing NavCanada cares about is your ability to get the medical.

The PDF that I got sent for the in person assessment last Oct only had one scenario and 6 practice questions. For the most part its a fairly straightforward test, and it gets progressively harder, so you get eased into it.

I'm sure it goes without saying though, those selected for IFR stream can probably guess with a high degree of accuracy where they'll be posted... :lol: In all seriousness though, when I did my in person interview, they said where they predicted people chosen for the VFR stream would likely be sent,...

For me it was posted online after I got the green light from the in person interview.

I guess it boils down to this for me; does success on the ITA self study translate into success on the written exam? I've done fine on the quizzes and exams, but I don't want that to give a flase sense of security....

Hi folks, I've been offered (and accepted) a seat on the May VFR course in YWG. Just starting the Intro to Aviation course and it says to try to get in touch with others who will be taking the course at the same time. Not completely necessary as it's a self-study package, but not a bad idea I guess....
