Re: Delta passenger claims pilot hit on him mid-flight with Grindr

Though Thorn said that if he didn’t have to catch his connecting flight, he would’ve met the captain. “I meet up with people all the time from Grindr,” Thorn said. “I think I totally would have met him for coffee.” I honestly have no clue how to respond to this. Buddy likes to meet people on this "...

Nice vid. I've never seen the sandbad system to displace a threshold. Not a fan either!

Re: flybigblue

I think they mentioned CYYZ, don't know what private hangar they are referencing. The posting echoes the Algonquin Airlink /Private Air tone for sure. Don't know if lines are borrowed or manager slid into startup ownership role. Who's interviewing first to find out? S. Pay - industry standard. Not ...

You know, your title implies that AC was at fault when in reality they were stationary, maybe it should read, “AC wing clipped”
I gotta agree, that's a bullshit title. Almost clickbait-esque.

Look to companies that offer shuttles for their employees. Bombardier, Pratt and Whitney, departments that do flying for mining companies. Stuff like that, there really is something for every taste in aviation.

The Ottawa base IS THE IQALUIT BASE. You simply rotate out of Ottawa and are responsible to get yourself to Ottawa to start the rotation of two on two off. Everything said above, applies and is correct

Re: 704/705 pilots still flying in GA

I feel terrible to say it, but I do not have my own aircraft. My first few years, I always thought that as soon as I had access to a great schedule and salary, that I would be purchasing my own aircraft immediately. Now that I've finally found some comfort, I drive away from the airport with no inte...

Re: YYZ SLOTS.....Again

I thought they got the message the last time they pulled this stunt. I haven't received anything official yet, but it must be coming very soon. All I can hope is that they handle it differently this time around because it turned my stints at work into a living hell.

Even the northern jobs where you have to load the aircraft yourself, I have seen done by less tall folks without issue. Don't even consider it a hurdle, just go for it. You'll be fine!

Honestly, I don’t know how you fine airline folks do it. Everytime I position on the airlines it seems the traveling public has gotten worse and I want to strangle someone.

I remember reading about that last month. Everyone got out, except the 20 month old baby. I cannot imagine how you get through that.
