Seems like no one in the 703 world or 704 world that I know is considering this company anymore.
Any reason to take a job here over Lynx or Flair?
I can’t decide which company is more likely to be around in 10 years at this point.

Being gone over half the month. Low to moderate pay to start. Eventually make good money but then you are married to your company. Hanging out with people you barely know. Hotels suck. Flying is pretty boring if you are honest. Eating out sucks. I liked things better when I was a 703 pilot and actu...

lookin for money and schedule of course but don't want to regret it long term. I think encore FO's just took a pay cut didn't they? Down to 36k a year. Working 19 days a month? I know less about cargo jet.

Re: Working for airlines sucks what else should I look into
There are positives to the airlines of course. Eventually you get some really good pay at some airlines. The airline I work with has sort of a flat scheduling system so seniority doesn't have so many benefits that way. I worked in 703 for 8 years and my pay scale has not caught up to what I made the...

Do you really have to decide how you want your coffee? I mean don't you just know how you like it? Occasionally I like dark. Sometimes medium blend. In the morning I might do a triple shot mocha. Most of the time it's an Americano. I'll usually get cups of caffeine 2-3 times a day in different forms.

They have new ad out sting they want fo's and captains with experience on type. If you already have experience on this plane and are a half decent employee then why would go to Orca? Aren't they the bottom of the barrel out there or are times that desperate for pilots?

de-ice procedures at various airports for small planes
Just curious if a guy can use a heated bottle of type I for a frost spray on the ramp of an FBO anymore or is that a thing of the past? Are most pilots being directed to directed to a specified de-ice pad where a contractor in a truck must spray them or what?

Correct me if I am wrong but I think the pay starts at 2k a month and goes up 3-400 a month after training is done. You got to do what you have to make it in this industry I guess but that's pretty low pay for single pilot ifr.

That's what I was thinking. Seems like you have to get a pretty good resume in order these days so you can get paid 31k to fly what must be an extremely complex and demanding aircraft.

Thanks guys. All of my time is float time and I have a group 3 IFR with the ink still wet, 1600TT. Not sure if jumping into a single pilot IFR job is a great idea given I have literally no IFR experience, but i'm getting a little tired of seasonal work and collecting EI every winter. You will be fi...
