Re: Whatsapp group: Porter 2022 hiring updates
Will porter hire OTS FOs like WestJet does? Or will “flow” be 100% from Dash pilots?

Re: Any good news on the horizon?
The UP was packed yesterday. Both boarding to leave Pearson and heading to their flights. Haven’t seen that in a while. More seriously though. The Sunwing purchase is a great sign (or at least I keep telling myself that). Smarter people than I approved a gigantic purchase in the aviation sector. Can...

Any updates on the E2 expansion?
Haven’t heard much and apparently the WAWCONs have yet to be released.

Re: 2020 Hiring
I’ve heard plenty of conflicting information about OTS hiring in regards to seniority if hired directly to WestJet without a stint at Encore. If hired tomorrow with a Wj seniority number, are new pilots behind every Encore pilot hired before them? Just the pilots hired prior to the infamous NO OneLi...

Re: Who's Happy?
Thanks to everyone who responded by including their current (or past) employer. It's great to see people speaking highly of any company on this site. Those that said that they are happy at the moment, or had a job they loved would you mind sharing the names of the employer? Or are people worried abo...

Re: Who's Happy?
I guess I deserved this for the title. At the very least, it got a good laugh out of me. I'm happy you're all happy. Specifically; who's happy as a direct result of a great work environment and wants to shed some light on the deserving employer? And..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLlsjEP7L-k T...

Who's Happy?
Long story short, I'm thinking about a move from my current job and despite all the negativity that surrounds these forums I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for 703/704 operators that they can speak highly of. I know that this may be a rare thing, but perhaps it could shed some light on ...

Re: Gilliam Air - BN2 position
This seems to be the most positive review a company has gotten in a while.
What's life like in Gillam? More or less what you'd expect in any of the obscure places where pilots go to cut their teeth i'm guessing?

Re: West wind 1900 captain add
Any info on the FO gig? It seems the ad pops up almost as often as the captain job. The time requirements seem like odd numbers, just curious what the job is like for those sitting in the right seat.

Re: Next Step?
My understanding is that at 500TT you're not overly marketable. Though it's often the minimum for MNR and such co pilot requirements it doesn't make you all that attractive to employers. Sometimes a co pilot gig will pop up at 500 hours, but I wouldn't bank on that. I remember Thunder was only offer...
