Re: AC arbitrated agreement

Given the latest message from Joe, it seems the sky is falling here at jazz. I personally won't be so quick to assume any and certainly not all new 705/900's entering the system will end up at jazz. They will likely go up in a bid to the lowest bidder. Let the games begin.... (que the sound of a flu...

Re: Skyregional takes flight May 1st

FL020 I worked 8-10 days a month on the 75. And it's easy work. dude, it doesn't get much better than that. and for those of you who don't like 110K a year or whatever it is on the 757, then go fly a dash 8 100 for that pay. you have a choice. Or go to AC or WJ or whatever. Jesus H christ. F@#K me s...

I was one of the crew members. Thanks to the well wishers and love you too to all the "others".
Guys- some people will never be happy. Can't ever change that.

But I have always said you get what you pay for. So i don't mind spending to get good quality.
I could probably use a bit more "cheapness" but I love buying expensive toys and do on a regular basis,

I think GeorgeJetson means #11 on the new bid position list that came out with the award. (effective maybe in a month or 2??) Not today's list.

Must work really well.... I know some absolute "winners" that got hired and I assume they "passed" the cog. Come on guys... that thing means sh#t. I don't usually get ruffled about these things but get your heads out of your asses. How many outstanding pilots got the boot because of it?? I understan...

This is F***ing ridiculous. It irritates me to no end that they are doing this. What a slap in the face to all the people who have and are working up north or in crappy jobs to get good experience for years. It TOTALLY cheapens the company in my opinion. Tell people where you work and they think you...

I don't think the Seneca "sim" is a sim that you can get a PPC on. It isn't full motion, and not all the things work in it. It is more like a CPT than anything.

This topic seems to come up from time to time. I don't know why pilots and big watches ever became synonymous. But to me, collecting watches is like collecting art. People do it all the time. People pay MILLIONS for old canvas and paint. It doesn't have to be justified. It is beyond justification (j...

With respect to the number at Jazz interviewing now, at least the first 3 new hire classes have been called for interviews. I am really wondering how many new hires (on a percentage interviewed) will be hired.
I guess we'll have to wait and see.

OK, so here is a bone of contention: If you are cleared the visual to a certain runway (at an MF zone) that has a left hand circuit and you are coming in from a position that sets you up for a right base can you "legally" join the right base on your visual approach? Many say yes absolutely, since it...

Don't sweat it. A buddy of mine has 14 or 15 views and no call. He only has a few thousand hours, but 500 jet. Can't figure it out. Rumour is, with the new hires and replacements for potential up-and-coming departures they might need an additional 200+. They have to come from soewhere.
Good luck.
