Good question. I did skim through one of his videos after reading he was demonetized and he mentioned "getting out of jail". So that would indicate he spent some time there.

Just a follow-up on this thread. I was curious today what the outcome of the whole things was. It turns out Trevor did 6 months in jail, lost his pilots license for a year, but now has it back. He plead guilty to an obstruction of justice charge admitting the entire thing was a hoax.

My daughter left aviation early in her training to do CS / programming. Everything is going offshore, she's out of work only been able to get short contract stuff lately. She would have been better off right now as a pilot. But that could change soon? Do what you love the most.

I bought a plane to do my PPL. We put 400 hours on it in 4 years and sold it for what we paid. It worked out well, but I guess I got lucky with minimal repairs.

My wife's flight YYZ - YVR was delayed an hour on the ground after loading yesterday for this.

Looks like a fairly well developed spin in the videos online. Sad for all the people on board, all died. (58 + 4 crew)

Sad news for the gliding community. That is the 2nd one that club lost in 5 years, there was a mid-air collision with the tow plane a few years ago.

It's 10 times worse without an ad blocker. It hangs waiting for the ad servers sometimes.
