Re: 2011 Ground Schools

Definitely no secret that hiring is halted. Did you get a gs offer for July or informed that late July is the next class and your in the pool? Just wondering what else HR has specified. Lots of planning left to do July G/s will have 18 ppl no new G/s till at least September I'm in the pool for sure...

Got the call from HR. Hiring has slowed down. Next 'late July' G/S will probably be it for the summer.

Re: anybody been called yet?

So the ppl that made the jump from somewhere to Jazz FO to WestJet real quick had the 500 or so turbine MPIC before Jazz...
Which means 704MPIC >>>> 705SIC.

Re: anybody been called yet?

Choosing between 500hrs 704 MPIC or 705 SIC, how much more 705 SIC would be required? Is it possible to make it to WJ w/o MPIC?

Re: Who else enjoys the opposition making an ass of themselves?

The plan is simple... if political parties get $1.95 per vote per election.... And considering how broke the opposition parties are... it makes sense to go back to the poles again and again! Think of the job creation numbers for all those election related jobs! Think of the ad revenues for the media...
