Re: EVAS accident.
Da by's went and crashed again. Stalled above the runway and smacked the tail. But don't worry, these by's are keen. And knew if they told anyone... There would be delays! And 'Keep er on sched' is the motto at EVAS! How safe do you feel knowing one crew damaged an airplane, and another crew came an...

Re: Air Canada Express Carrier EVAS Air Now accepting applications from pilots holding foreign licences/qualifications
What's with all their planes being painted white and having the Air Canada markings removed? Noticed that when I was in Halifornia the other day. Let me axe you question; If you were the "Flag Carrier" of your country, would you want your name on the side of aircraft belonging to "SkeetAir Air"? Na...

Re: EVAS Air
Hilarious Truly and surely a joke. EVAS advertising their "Competitive" salary! Come on folks, sure they compete with McD's and Wal-Mart. But how does a company brag about their "top secret" pay scale? If they were actually proud of their pay, it would be advertised! However, good job including wint...

Re: Provincial C550 FO
I'm not sure who they call for these postings? Perhaps they only post to stir up the internal commotion? I as well as several friends applied previously! All of us wishing wishing to move back to the East. Even with a very full resume, none of us received a call! It's not always about what you know....

Re: Voyageur Airways
Good crews Lots of great experience with Voyageur for many many pilots, FAs and engineers! A lot of crew left since the change in tax credit and layoffs. Usually an internal reference helps, but certainly not required. A couple of my friends had a bad ride, but still say they enjoyed their time with...

Re: EVAS Air
Chorus has totally refitted one of the Jazz DHC-8-100s with an all new cabin and renewed flight deck. Plan is to agressively seek to take back the flying that is being accomplished with the 1900s! With Chorus AND Air Lab eager to take a bite off of the Store's bottom line, it may be a great time for...

Re: EVAS Air
I would to see so many good aviators get done over with the possibility of the White Holes losing they're contract with AC. But, it's almost certain! Even their "good friends and allies" Air Lab are putting the puzzle together and solidifying themselves as a regional player in contention to pick up ...

Re: EVAS Air
Not a great deal of upgrades. A lot of us get our ATPL and promptly fly the coup! Career progression needs to have a carrot to keep pilots progressing... A terrible schedule, terrible management, terribly shotty maintenance, terrible pay, terrible atmosphere..... Sounds like a terrible tasting carro...

Re: 1900 incident Ontario
Down East we have most of fleet fitted with an extra "ear" on the top part of the cowl, that bolt securely to the bottom part. Those latches do indeed get quite worn. We've had upper cowls separate but not completely detach! Even one with the "ear" modification, the rear end of the cowl popped up on...

Re: EVAS Air
There are lots of great guys here!
Lots of us have very few options to leave. Even with the huge flow in our industry at this moment.
But there's no question, SKEET AIR should be on the nose of our planes!!! Right by the door, where pax walk in!

I think they're a P2F scheme now due to unfortunate circumstances!
They're broke!
Selling off they're big houses
No parts in inventory
Hassle to get paid for overtime and per diem

Re: EVAS Air
Too bad, there was some great truth in the previous thread! I hope GGN is quick with the finalization of their takeover. Maybe then we won't have so many pilots leaving and we won't have to pick up the slack... Flying 12 legs a day! Poisonous atmosphere ! Keeping your skies safe.... Is someone else'...

It may be possible to have two NL operators work in tandem on the bargaining with their respective future unions?

Re: Would a Pilot Association fly at smaller Eastern operato
How funny would it be if all the replies to this topic were all EVAS employees? Probably talking about the same stuff everyday in the cockpit; yet unbeknownst to each other's usernames on AVCANADA. Haha. You`re prob right TPIR, between current and ex employees. And one seemingly management comment....

Re: Would a Pilot Association fly at smaller Eastern operato
Everyone says how great the potential is there! That I've spoke with.
But its a shamefully pressured operation.
Remarkable lack of respect too.
Certainly things can be fixed, though. If disgruntled employees see potential....hopefully owners do too!
