Re: AC Application confirmation email, need advice
Hotmail account didn’t work for me. I waited 12 months before trying again with my google email. I got a confirmation email immediately. I went a year thinking I had an application on file... haha. Don’t be like me Hmmmm I’m using my iCloud email account... perhaps that is the issue 🤔 Just retried ...

AC Application confirmation email, need advice
Just completed my AC online application and submitted it. The site says I should receive a confirmation email which I have never received. I have tried it a couple of times, including both on an iPad and laptop. I don’t think my application is being updated and processed correctly and not sure what ...

Re: ALPA Jumpseat Question
A RAIC does not give you ability to “jumpseat” but being a commercial pilot does is what I was getting at with my original question. I always thought that what has been stated a couple times regarding having to be with a carrier with a reciprocal was the case. Until a colleague said he had done this...

Re: ALPA Jumpseat Question
I should have been more specific, I know “jumpseating” is sitting in the back. I have “jumpseated” with a previous airline gig. Now I’m in a corporate situation and thought I couldn’t anymore until a colleague told me his anecdote. So I have wondered if I could using the system I proposed in my ques...

Cypq Seneca duty pilot position
Used to see ads for this job regularly a few years ago and now never seem to ever pop up. At least not posted, looking to possibly do this as a part time/extra cash gig and wondering if anyone out here has some info on it’s availability or a contact to try and get a resume in? Not even sure if the p...

Re: ALPA Jumpseat Question
Have a different question related but not the same. Is a non-airline Pilot, say a corporate pilot with a RAIC, able to Jumpseat? For example, he arrives at the terminal in uniform and RAIC, gets a standby boarding pass from the check in agent and proceeds to the gate to request from the captain to J...

Re: Air Sprint Questions
Hi guys, Going through the handbook (which is great to see publicly), i was looking towards the benefit side of things. If I understand correct, on year 6, AS takes care of 100% of the cost of benefits for pilots, is that correct? Up to that point, guys pay a percentage? Does that percentage decrea...

Re: Chartright Promoting From Within
When I did that exact interview for flight follower with Mr. Armstrong in around 2009, the direct answer from his mouth was no we don’t. Go and get some operational experience first and we’ll meet with you again for a pilot position. Maybe things have changed quite a bit in 10 years...

Re: Will we ever stop shooting ourselves in the foot?
The difference between the US market and Canada is insane! Regionals giving $30k signing bonuses, and $80k salary for flying a metroliner! People here seem to have pride in being abused and pretty much demand everyone spend 2 years on the ramp insisting it's a necessary step (which only exists here...

Re: F bomb on hot mic
Can't just make a mistake anymore, learn and move on. Nope, need some internet hero to make it viral. Bingo. If you are not perfectly politically correct and never make any minor mistake EVER, you are dangerous scum here in canadastan. That pretty much makes 90% of the population inadmissable to so...

If captaincooll was paying for the tickets with a stolen credit card then doesn’t that mean AC isn’t out any money at all? And in fact simply sold the seats at full price?? Perhaps I am missing something?..
