Skydive recommends
Interested in trying a skydive in the GTA, looking for a place that’s recommended based on price and overall experience? I know of skydive Toronto but I see them a scabs of the industry selling C-182 “type ratings” so don’t want to give them any of my money.

Re: How long until you hear back from AC?
I know someone who came over from Jazz last fall, drew the bottom straw, has ow done the 220 course but can’t get any flying. Yet they’re still running multiple course dates? That does sound fairly accurate. Ppl are sitting a lot at home on reserve due to the ongoing engine issues. 220s are being g...

Funding flight training
Hey everyone just wondering what the avenue is most took to fund their flight training? Other than being independently wealthy how did you go about securing funds? Are there banks willing to do some kind of student loan or line of credit? Any other programs out there? My wife wants to go the route a...

Don’t listen to happyflyer78. He can’t land a 705 job even with his thousands of hours or multi turbo-prop PIC. What a loser!!

Re: So over at TransAt.......PAY ATTENTION!
They did waive it. They’re doing info sessions for their membership this week, to present them with the mediation report they will be voting on. Apparently TA2 is guaranteed if they vote yes with the added mediation report item(s). If they vote no it’s straight to an arbitrator who will decide with...

Re: So over at TransAt.......PAY ATTENTION!
What’s the latest news on the TA FAs? I heard they are going for another vote and this time they’ll be giving up their right to strike? Anyone with inside information? Why would they give up a -right- enshrined in the Labor Code? Not sure a "right" can legally be waived by anyone. That seems very b...

Re: Is the ACPA Motto: "We will get'em next time" gone?
I’ve been struggling with understanding “why” the company agreed to this mediation piece. It seemed like things were going as per their playbook and they were getting what they wanted, but then agreed to mediation… why? The only thing I can think of is they played their hand too aggressively and to...

Re: Wear your goddamn lanyard!
They were striking here... So...no?? Im old, and my memory fading fast, but, pretty sure we were information picketing in 2012, prior to the lockout. Regardless, information pickets have been around for as long as airlines have been around. If this is indeed the first time then that's great, but Im...

Re: Timing the cycle
Lots of tough talk but when it comes down to it very few will quit and very few would not go back to work if legislated back. Just the way it is. People saying they will quit and go somewhere else. Honest question...where would you go? Watch ME get legislated back to work. I will go overseas or the...

You’re not going to get united gains. Simple. Manha Manha Pilots make planes move not management. T...

It has to do with a country on the other side of the world has free flow agreement for pilots. While the large economic and cultural bloc that is Canada and US does not. Good job all around.

Anyone get a call recently? From what I’m told it’s all jazz guys getting the call right now. For the rest of the year it sounds like a class every two weeks, 24 people, 20 of them being jazz. My references have been contacted but I’m still waiting on my call. 24 in total or 24 in each class?
