Re: DHC-2 Aviation Headset

The Bose suck at high power in the beav, but are ok in cruise as long as you adjust them properly over your ears. Overall I think the light speeds were better in the machine, but I’ve had some quality issues with them. Yeah I agree. At 36" the Bose just doesn't seem to be able to handle it. In crui...

For those operating low with turboprops, they're burning a lot more than a King Air humming along at FL210.
That and you could probably buy about 5 of these engines for the price of one PT6

4 people protesting were deliberately struck by a hit and run SUV last night in Winnipeg. Driver arrested and charged. That is genuine violence, but of course Zero media coverage. Doesn’t fit the narrative. Yeah zero media coverage. It was only on CBC, CTV, Global, Winnipeg Free Press etc. Zero.

Every Canadian wants mandates to end. Most are just intelligent enough to realize that time should be based on ebbing hospitalizations. Majority of Canadians supporting the convoy? You mean the 120K that cared enough to donate? Or is it more likely closer to the 3% of eligible voters, who only 4 sh...

Re: Medical freedom

You still have the right to travel, flying on an airplane is not a right. You have the right to seek employment, you don't have the right to be a pilot. None of this is a breach of the charter. PS Exactly. The charter guarantees Canadians the right to enter and exit Canada and to move freely around...

Yeah, I have talked to a few friends that fly in different parts of the country than me. One said that the company bought Mustang's for the pilots. Unless they managed to get a hold of that discontinued law enforcement one which is the MD3085 LE, they likely don't even realize that they aren't allow...

You could be right about the type II PFD's being approved even if they don't say UL1180 but that one is hydrostatic, you need one that is manually inflated. I was able to find one manual Mustang model that says Type II UL1180 which is a PFD for law enforcement, but it is discontinued. I called Musta...

All these opinions are great. However, as an ops manager for a small float operation, where is the "official" rules, regulations, time line, specifications for this. We just bought 4 of the tried and true thin yellow jackets which, I don't think will last a season of constant use. I understand that...

You might be able to find someone needing part time help on the dock and maybe occasional flying if they have a 185 or something. I don't think any of the Cubana A320's they fly to Canada are Cuban registered though. The last one I was on was registered in Lithuania and a few years before that it was an Irish one.
