That is abusive to the aircraft IMHO. That's what Senecas and the like are for. Oh well, free country, have at her.

I guess money talks but I think you will find it hard. Generally they come with crew. If that's something you would consider PM me.

Re: Michael Moore: Pilots on food stamps (video)
I agree with him for once, except where he blames capitalism. This has been done purely 100% by pilots to pilots. Low time guys feel they just gotta fly so they do it for free.

Yep. Have had dealings with them several times over the years. Andy is helpful and the shop is quick and properly priced. I gladly use them when we are up there and broken.

Re: What's up in Vancouver?
I don't know if the ISU actually knows what the plan is going to be during the Olympics. Could go either way I suppose. We've been doing better the last couple of months. Generally in the winter months the turbines sit a lot more than they have this year which has been good. And spring/summer is loo...

One should never look for a TC inspector. They're here to help, they'll find you.

Agreed not much movement in the job front but loads are WAY up over last xmas. At least in cargo. It has been 10 days of non stop flying. At least half again last xmas. About time.

Re: New operator in Abbotsford?
I can't get Xm working here, at least not for METARS. It will work for NEXRAD but not for METARS. I am using a US address and it works fine when we're flying in the states. Any advice on this Ahramin?

Thank you Adam. I appreciate that. I guess you did fly with Jer a lot. I'm sure you did learn a lot from him and it would have been rock solid real world lessons.

Re: Latest YVR crash
How about this....I've known Jeremy and the Mills family since I was little. I think this tragic event can be linked to the "Poorly Paid, Often Tired, Junior Pilots" . Jeremy would bust his ass painting during the day on top of flying at night so he could make some $$$. We all know how much those g...

Typical. This is why I don't post much on here anymore and why I have never posted in a forum regarding an accident. Re: Vancouver VTA's
I see now we have to buy another piece of paper for the flights we are not allowed to do during the olympics. Great. Nav Canada has succesfully reinvented the straight line. They have discovered (in YVR anyways) that the shortest distance between two points is in fact not a straight line. It is much...

Re: Single Pilot IFR
For commercial there are a set of minimums that are sometimes AOC specific. For private (years since I've done it) I'm pretty sure if you have an IFR rating and an IFR aircraft you can go with passengers. If you're just getting your IFR though you should think about logging some IFR time before you ...
